rises from the inclines of Mescid Mountain (3239m) in the north of Erzurum
and Kars plateaus,joning with Masat a nd Kop streams,flows to the west
in waterfalls,and pours in Karadeniz in Batum.
When he had seen river of çoruh,Evliya çelebi had called
it ‘’cui ruh’’ in the meaning the river of spirit’’
or ‘’the river of soul’’.The river of çoruh,being
very enthusiastic,inspiring the poets,making any apart,is always a young
and a dynamic river.
